Experience
I have been counselling for seven years, having both volunteered and worked in the charity sector before setting up my own private practice.
Experienced in providing long and short term counselling, I have worked with clients from many different backgrounds. Carrying out face to face, telephone and online sessions.
I have supported clients with mental health issues including depression, anxiety, PTSD and OCD. I have also worked with many themes such as stress, loneliness, identity, low self-esteem, family and relationship issues, dissociation, suicidal thoughts and self harm.
I am trauma informed and have considerable experience and training in working with clients who have experienced childhood sexual abuse, sexual abuse/violence and domestic abuse/violence. I have also worked with family members who are supporting survivors.
